Bartels Sandblasting & Restoration, has it mind on the end product and in bringing the item to as close to original restoration as is possible.  Bartels has sandblasted and restored numerous pieces for the National Historic Cheesemaking Center in an effort to give visitors the true meaning of equipment in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

Ron & Sue are gracious supporters of the National Historic Cheesemaking Center, actively serving within the organization. Sue is an active volunteer as a tour guide at National Historic Cheesemaking Center.

Steve, with his two brothers Ron & Dave, operates Klondike Cheese Company.  Children of Steve, fourth generation, have joined the firm continuing to make quality cheeses.  Steve, a Master Cheesemaker in Feta and Muenster, grew up in the cheese factory and pursued his passion.

Chalet Cheese Co-op is home to the only Limburger cheese factory in the United States.  In addition to Limburger, Chalet Cheese Co-op also produces Baby Swiss and German Brick.  A wide variety of local area cheeses are available six days a week.

Klondike Cheese Company, one of the largest feta producers in the country is in its fourth generation of cheesemakers, owned and operated by three Master Cheesemakers, Ron, Dave and Steve Buholzer. In addition to traditional Greek feta, Klondike also produces flavored feta, brick, muenster and havarti cheeses and most recently Greek Yogurt.

Chris Roelli, the fourth generation of the Roelli Cheese Company, is a Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker.  Chris recently received his Master Certification in cheddar. In addition to the cheese factory located east of Shullsburg on Hwy 11, the Roelli family also operates an adjacent cheese store.
